It was only a matter of time:

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live and DNR News Release) The Department of Natural Resources has confirmed five new reports of zebra mussels in Minnesota lakes including two in Otter Tail County.
Infested waters signs have been posted at DNR accesses on West Battle Lake and Otter Tail Lake in Otter Tail County, Lake Florida in Kandiyohi County, Pocket Lake in Douglas County, and a network of abandoned mine pits in Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area in Crow Wing County.
DNR invasive species staff found one adult zebra mussel in the area of an initial citizen report and three adult zebra mussels about three miles from the initial report location on West Battle Lake. The DNR will monitor downstream lakes in Glendalough State Park.
A swimmer found a zebra mussel on a native clam in Otter Tail Lake. DNR invasive species staff searched more than 3,000 objects in the lake and did not find any other zebra mussels. They continue to conduct dock and lift searches, and ask the public to check their equipment and contact the DNR to report anything suspicious.

Agree just not good. Don't see a reason it's going to get any better any time soon

And there isnt any inspections being done at the busiest ramp in ND, Grahams Island state Park on Devils lake. Our NDGF department is really dropping the ball on this situation. People please email and call the NDGF and complain about the lack of inspections. Once our ND lakes become infested it will suck greatly. With all of the stocking that goes on every last lake will end up infected.

Its going to happen in creel ---- ski boat with ballast system --- that is what is getting the cormorant lakes area, pelican and ottertail -- that and idiots moving equipment around. Well known -- they should be outlawed. I scraped the rocks next to grahams - nothing. you can never get the water out of the ballast all the way. Outlaw them and jet skiis and life would be good.

Exactly gay... Simple inspections and a non laissez-faire attitude towards managing the problem would be a great start.
