I wear ariats for work. They take awhile to break in as the leather is thick and stiff. They are kind of like polyester pants kind of dumb looking but hard to wear out!

I've been wearing steel toes for over 20 years, think I've tried almost every brand. Keen is very comfortable, can't get them to last more than 4 months. My latest pair is Timberline pros, 6 months now and they have been the most comfortable yet, I will be buying them again if they ever wear out.

I purchased these same boots about a week ago. I ordered the same size as my regular Ariat slip on boots. I was wondering how long they take to break-in, right now they seem a little tight on the top of my foot, everything else seems to be okay. Thanks

i bought a pair of these!! Yes they are very comfy and warm..... But...... Within a month of wearing them the outter layer started to come apart on one boot!! Not sure if it was a deffective boot or what the issue is! Not once has my foot gotten wet though!!

I have worn a lot of brands of boots over the years, and I think that Thorogood is the best brand there is for a work boot. They are American made and are built to hold up. I prefer the ones with the white wedge soles, even though I catch a little flack for wearing them, as they are a little flashy until you accomplish enough work in them to dirty um up.

I ended up buying a pair thorogood online for a good deal I just hope the composite supported shank holds up like my steel shank on my last chippewa boots.

well i have wore these ariats for well over a year now, and i must say they have been pretty damn good for me, the liners have kinda gone to shit on me through out the year but i wear them literally every single day whether im going out on the town or checking trail cams or fishing so on and so forth, needless to say i have put a ton of miles on them and they have stood up pretty well, its time to get another pair of work boots so i will be buying ariats again

Aren't these better suited for consultants?

I have these for four years still in great shape. Comfortable from day one. They a great consultant boot easy on and easy off. Very important for the company man shack.

Ariats for me, the square toe pull on style. I had 1 pair last 4 years, then tried double H's, not even close to as comfy, had to put ariat inserts in them to make them half decent, went back to ariats for another 5 years now, looking to get another set of ariats. Heard good things about keen but don't think they'd hold up as well as ariats. I prefer to wear my work boots over tennis shoes or anything else just because they are so comfortable.

Just ordered a pair of Craftsman kryptors from Kmart online for $75. My 2nd pair since the dog chewed the shit out of my 1st pair that I really liked.
