I have the 9000 BTU and use it in an Otter Cottage and Eskimo 3I pop up. Great heater. Never had a problem with it like the damn POS Buddy heater I had. If the 12000 BTU Dewalt heater I have for a bigger flip over and bigger hub ever takes a dump, it will get replaced by the 18000 BTU Heat Hog.

Yep. The Heat Hog has been ZERO problems.
May i ask, looking at the dial is it infinite heat settings or is it just the high and low like the Buddy Heater? Watched 2 different vids and both say opposite . Confuses my little pea brain

Years ago i only had a coleman white gas lantern for my heat source and liked it,no inexpensive option for heat. Now these heaters, sunflowers put out to much heat in a two man.

Nothing can beat a Chinese diesel hunter, they work, it's all dry heat
I’ve been eyeballing them for years

What are you using yours for and how did you set yours up? (how did you port the hot air into the shelter, etc.)

i bought one off ebay about 6 years ago for 120.00 just to mess around with. it is the self contained unit so fuel tank and heater all assembled in a box. puts out alot of heat but the fuel pump is loud. there 2 heat outlets that ducting hooks up to. ive seen people with them outside a hub house with the ducts ran inside. they are really just a small knipco heater.

the pump makes a clicking sound just put it outside with something between the heater and your shelter and your good to go
