Vikings signing QB Carson Wentz, trading Sam Howell to Eagles: Sources

The Minnesota Vikings are making a change at quarterback ahead of Tuesday’s 53-man roster deadline by trading backup Sam Howell to the Philadelphia Eagles and signing veteran Carson Wentz, league sources said.

The move comes one day after Wentz worked out with the Vikings, raising questions about the team’s depth chart at quarterback. Minnesota planned to start J.J. McCarthy to begin the 2025 season.

Toby got wronged with Taylor...he is still one of my all time favorite country singers. He brought her to "stardum" and then she got bought off by Soros

Rough day for the Bison

FARGO, N.D. (KMOT) - A handful of North Dakota state football alumni were cut Tuesday as all 32 NFL teams finalized their initial 53-man rosters.

The Cincinnati Bengals waived offensive lineman Cordell Volson with an injury designation. Volson is likely to miss the entirety of his fourth season with a shoulder injury.

The Las Vegas Raiders waived quarterback Cam Miller. The 2025 sixth-round pick can be signed to the team’s practice squad if he clears waivers.

The same is the case for Dickinson native Jake Kubas. Kubas spent last season and this preseason with the New York Giants.

Other cuts include Eli Mostaert, Nick Kubitz, Easton Stick, Jayden Price, Mason Miller and Zack Johnson.
