Heres another fun fact there is no salary cap on coaching staffs in the nfl again is another reason why those teams continue to perform at a higher level then a .500 team like the vikes. Players will aslo take less to be part of a winning team knowing they will have a better chance at a ring.

The 500 talk is baseless but this is true.

If you just say they're just a 500 team, well look at all the other top franchises of all time in terms of percentage. They just came off a 14-3 season. It's just not a good argument is all.

Not a good argrument that jjm would had an easier schedule in 2024 16th compared to his schedule in 2025 t5. How is that not a good argrument besides the fact the vikes have a terrible head office in recruiting viable talent year in and year out.
Now lets take the Philadelphia eagles who managed to keep majority of their talent from last season which they won a super bowl, anyone of those players could have went to another team and possibly made more money but they stayed for less money because the players believed in the system that produced a team that won them a place in the history books .

The reason the nfl has such a good business plan in wholesystem it has perfected is strength of schedule where the teams with better records statistically play each other every new season. Where teams who make great picks through the draftnor off season free agency, but if you manage to win, that team is basically punished and will be forced to play in a better schedule. The league as a whole is made up of .500 winning teams where teams go out and get better talent by a history that will make them champions. Every team has the same amount of money they can spend each season, but where the difference lies is in your coaching personal and team pedigree. A team can pay their coaching staff whatever they want, which i believe is where the vikes have faultered, they haven't had a hall of fame caliber coach since bud grant.
Why is that? I dont know and i can only speculate
I want to believe that koc has made a good choice with jjm and that he is struggling worse then most rookies in his would be sophomore slump because he never took a snap for a whole year. I watched jjm his last year in Michigan and imo has what it takes to be a great qb but does he have the heart to be a great qb.

Im fine ruttin, no need to think im going to wig out. Rut2much has a viable opinion that many would agree that there are more factors in just strength of schedule but the one thing his meme proved without a doubt is Minnesota is the worst. 500 team in nfl history. The key point of that argument is the .500 part, granted there are many teams like the lions who have never made it to the super bowl but they are not a .500 team historically.
