They ice fish the Mississippi backwaters south of Minneapistan along the Wisconsin border with these and catch some pretty nice perch. Most of the outdoor show guys have had one of these episodes during ice fishing season. I'm patient enough to wait a week for walkable ice, but there is definitely something great about being somewhere first, and those will get you there first.
