It's been about 8 years since I last ice fished and now my 14 year old is wanting to get out. I'm looking to get him out on a small lake that will hopefully have a good chance at catching some fish just to keep him interested. Anyone been to Mcgregor or Smishek or Northgate this year? Not looking for anything really to keep, mainly just looking for some consistent action to keep the kid interested. I've fished these lakes in the past and had good success, but as I said it's been about 8 years since I ice fished and at least that long since I fished any of these lakes. Any info is greatly appreciated!
