Tour level gold follows 4 fisherman on NWT throughout the season. Hjelm is one of them. This is second season. Goggle it. It is awesome.

Tour Level Gold is on YouTube. They follow the pros. Great show. Here's a link to the first episode of last year.

I like it so you know what they used to catch them. Learn from the best they say!

Forward facing sonar the new tournament domination.
That has won almost every tournament on Sak this year. Korey Sprengel took 4th and was using the Berkley Finisher and FFS all tournament. I get a laugh out of the interviews with the pros when they say people will be pulling harnesses. When is the last time a tournament was won on live bait harnesses (not creek chubs)?

I ran a camera boat for the Tour Level Gold guys during the NWT. It was a good time and they are a good group of guys, I'd recommend checking out their content.

Lincoln, kinda...
Did the range of the tournament extend all the way up through Van Hook? I saw a number of pro-owned/sponsored boats at the north end of Van Hook on Saturday, but wasn't aware of any tournaments outside of whatever was being held over at 4Bears. That would be quite the run on a somewhat windy day!

The NWT was over Friday with a big number running from Garrison up to shell and into the arm. A fair number of the pro-owned boats stayed an extra day to jumped in the casino tournament as well. We fished the casino tournament and can say it was a bit of a sporty ride once you cleared the corner into the arm with the Northeast wind! The casino tournament was won by the same gentleman that finished 7th in the NWT the day before.

I was out fishing the east end both days of the tournament and 4 days prior to the tournament as I happened to be on vacation that week. Both mornings of the NWT I tooled out through the tournament boats in garrison bay around 6:45 and I was out and was fishing by the time they took off. I'd be willing to bet 75% went past Indian Hills and north falling somewhere between deep-water and the hook. I would guess 95% went past Douglas Bay, lol. Although I was only out fishing for eaters and not targeting tournament fish, both days we had 5 in the well by the time the last tournament boat went by................

Do those boats carry enough gas to make it all the way to van hook and back?

I heard some could make it, but a fair number were stopping and filling at Indian Hills. If you have Facebook you can check out Indian Hills page they did some short interviews while they were filling gas.
