Gee Zog old ammo kept high and dry gets better with age in my case,some of my old waterfowl loads are 10+ yrs old still go bang,bagging a bird is know longer important but a bonus,my young pup now 3yrs old and watching the sunrise makes my hunt. Not long ago my dad passed I grabbed his Remington 1100 and one old box of Winchester super X ammo from the 60's no issues when we gave the Remington a whirl with that old ammo.

When I was stationed at Myrtle Beach we got a glut of .38 and .45: New (then) "9mm craze"?(!) Be assured: ALL old and dangerous ammunition was disposed properly at a nearby strip pit. We capitalized on retardation like fucking fiends then ate cheeseburgers in various establishments.
