Olympic wrestling is awesome! I can't believe they may discontinue it again after 2024. Such a shame!

I believe they've cleaned up the corruption, and straightened the rules out so as too avoid eliminating it.

As a old high school track guy,one of my events was high jump,thought I was better than average back in the "western roll days" at 6'6 as my PB but today at these games 7'10! ole dick fosbury sure raised the bar with his fosbury flop.good grief.

Exactly, I gave her the benefit of doubt right away. Now it seems like each new day brings a new excuse.

Instead of the Biles drama, did anyone see the world records in the 400m hurdles last night? Womens was impressive with two breaking the old record. But the Norwegian guy who ran a 45.9 to reset his recent world record by .7 was insane. Other than the top 8 at the Olympics, not many guys can run in the 45 second range in a standard 400m. To run that speed while clearing 10 hurdles is impressive to say the least!

She lost in Semifinals and will go for bronze. Very frustrating to watch as only points in match were from stalling. Hard to beat a Jap on home soil. Just watched session 19 in boxing where judges robbed the Colombian and gave it to the Jap.

Team USA has won its last 10 matches!!! (Freestyle Wrestling) All remaining wrestlers are guaranteed a medal match. The intensity, grit, determination of all the competitors is amazing. IMO these are some of the best athletic humans on the planet, and are definitely the among thefittest physically and mentally.

EPIC session this morning. Gable Steveson won Gold in the last 1/2 second. All 5 of our men medal. One session left and it's ending with the rubber match between 2 of the best young legends in history. USA vs Russis at 97 Kg. Both are Olympic Champs in Rio. Both have won multiple world titles.

Yeah, just watched the Steveson match. A takedown with 0.2 seconds left for the win. Wow...

I thought the refs were doing pretty fair until today. Gable got hosed on a 4 pt throw, and the ref stopped action just as he was about to score. Then he gave up 8 pts in 2nd period!! Down 5-8 with 13 s left. Got 2 TDs and won it. Again I'm not sure why ref blew whistle with 6 s left? They usually just let time run out. They never put them back up, but we'll take it lol.
