I’m getting spring fever, any ramps open on the Missouri River or shore fishing spots around the state?

Nelson Lake would be available for long rods.

As would the Missouri River from roughly Cross Ranch up to the Tailrace. This latter one is based on a tour of the river I did on Wed.

Ice jam and minor flood warnings Bismarck area. Sounds like the jam is just south of fox island

Monday crossing the bridge in Washburn there was a boat out fishing. Tuesday there were large chunks of ice floating down.

Last weekend fished Sak/Centennial Bay area...east end...only had 16 inches and ice had begun to rot. Unless we get an extended cold snap, can't imagine Sak won't be wide open by early April.

Wow, thats suprising and quite the difference, wolf creek had +-24" on sunday

What’s the river looking like south of Bismarck? Is the lake or beaver bay open yet?

Just drove by yesterday and looks pretty locked up from ft Yates till open pockets just south of Bismarck. Pretty wide open down here.

I've been watching sheets of ice float down the lake on the DOT camera at the New Town bridge. Appears to be opening up a decent amount up there.

Audubon and the East end of Sak were still locked up pretty tight when I was driving around Sunday. North Audubon is open but no dock.

Hell i was ice fishing the east end on Saturday for pike. Still 16-18" of ice

When I worked with Backwater Eddy, he said that the freeze/thaw line moves 20 miles/day.
