You are not for landowner rights. Being opposed to 2137 is a dead giveaway. Why do you want to tell others what they can’t do on their own land?…… Is it possible fritz opposes conservationists or legislation in disguise as conservation? The same conversationists who want to set rules and infringe on private property owners? Not all conservation is the same. Some very wolf in sheep’s clothing people out there….im fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a section of land the landowner lets only relatives hunt. Very very rare for a free lancer to gain permission. Is that landowner anti free lancer because he wants his family to enjoy the land and not some strangers? Something stinks with you bravo. Something’s off. Youre not what you say you are or you’re trying to shift perception somehow.
I’m not opposed to 2137 other than I think there’s got to be a better way to go about it. The fact that there’s a sunset eased my stance, so we can see if there’s a tangible difference in restrictions. Obviously there’s a difference between real conservation and green new deal BS. Putting it all in the same box is just disingenuous. And show me where the hell I ever once said I want to control what others do on their land?!? I’ve got 200 acres of my own and plenty more in the family. Please wise one tell me what I am.

Later.

Restrictions on private property with zero evidence to support the claims as well as more than ample evidence to suggest baiting bans dont work and arent even close to practical are a good way to go about it?any restriction based on absolutely nothing is an abomination……So if the government deems large wooden spoons a threat and provides zero data backing up the claim you are ok with them banning large wooden spoons. because it’s “ part of their toolbox” ……. If you can’t see the government overreach in the issue you’re stuck in the mud. The fact you support a baiting ban in the first place is exactly telling others what they should or shouldn’t do on their own land. Thats you saying you don’t like baiting so others cant do it. It’s exactly what it is. Im not sure what you are but you aren’t a typical landowner….. something is off. Youre sympathetic view towards government has me leaning towards either an inside mole here or you have immediate family involved in some form of government that gives you such a sympathetic view.

You’ve got two problems trip. You assume a lot and almost none of it is correct. I’ve shot a lot of deer over bait. You use a lot of hyperbole and think you’ve made a compelling argument. And you’re a bit paranoid. The only tie I have to the government is Uncle Sam pays me to wear camo a few days a month.

Yeah I may be a different type of landowner. I don’t think everything is mine. I have some empathy for the average Joe and their kids and want them to have some opportunities. The ones who don’t have the time or money to have a great hunt every time they go out. That’s how I grew up. Not everything has to be so black and white. There’s regs I don’t love but legislation isn’t the best path, that’s my stance. Go back and read as many posts of mine on here as you want. I’m pretty staunch on landowners being able to do as they please on their own property.

You post a lot on here about the government taking your money and how you’ve had enough. Do some digging on the generous landowner you’re defending. See how much you’ve paid towards his high fences in subsidies and ppp loans. Read up on the farm bureaus website in their “we believe” section and see how friendly they are towards guys like us. Or just keep being mad at me, I don’t care.

No one’s mad…. And no not paranoid. Im 37-0 i
On conspiracy theory’s and I’ll be right on CWD too. I just can’t wrap my head around how anyone would be for restrictions from the government based on nothing and furthermore once proof against said restrictions comes out they are still wishy washy…or because someone has ppp or subsidies then government overreach is cool beans. If you want something fucked up get the government involved. this cwd debacle is no different. We can go back and forth on subsidies or who gets what. Im not a fan either. Im not arguing who’s good or who’s evil. The only reason I stand against the game and fish on this issue is because of the assinine overreach….And yes Im very adamant on government overreach on any level. And when it comes to government taking my money, im a producer. Im a middle class schlub that doesn’t get shit from Uncle Sam. I put a lot more into the pot than I get back so I suppose a sour taste for any government intrusion has developed over the years…..But if we’re going to discredit anyone who’s taken ppp or subsidies in some form or not stand for their freedom and rights then I guess probably over half the state shouldn’t be able to have a say then 🤷🏼. I know plenty of people that got ppp or get farm subsidies. Like or hate it youd have to be clinically retarded not to take them. If I were in the same position I probably would as well. If we don’t legislate against unelected government overreach than what’s stopping them from continuing the overreach? Wouldn’t letting them continue embolden them more?
