There was i a guy who worked with me on my other job that lost like a hundred pounds as soon as i seen him i knew he was on something unnatural. Another diet will also do the samethjng and that is a vegan. I believe we will see many of these people eventually have bad reactions to this drug once they get older, also now that people are taking this drug the price is over double for a monthly prescription.

Pills for cosmetic purposes seem to always end in physical and mental damage or both. Pills for big muscles seem to end badly for those who use them. Think WWE and professional football. Pills for youthful appearance seem to work in the beginning and then fail spectacularly and end up making folks appear like the grim reaper. Pills will never replace life discipline or determined effort. IMO, pills only accelerate peoples journey to the very place they take these pills to avoid. Sad Really.

Ozempic vag is a thing also supposedly, seen some stuff online about it, not really the V itself, but more like the area around it gets a deflated look... Doesnt significantly change its function though, just less cushion for the pushin. awesome

Being morbidly obese is one of the most dangerous ways to be in life.
Diet
Pills
exercise
Whatever it takes is better than staying fat and close to a stroke at any moment.

Work with a guy who decided to slim down, restricted his diet, and added copious amounts of caffeine, had to take a month off and go through all sorta of tests as his heart was busting at the seems with the self regiment he put himself on. He did loose 115lbs, and looks great, and now has it under control.

I guess you never know, the above pic is grotesque to say the least

There's a difference between taking these GLP-1 drugs because a person is very obese, and one who is taking them because they think they will look better if they lose 10 pounds and don't want to work as hard as they need to do it.
The biggest joke is how these get prescribed. Your doctor can tell you no you dont/shouldnt take them and I wont prescribe, but you can leave his office and get an appointment online with a doctor from weight watchers and have the prescription in 3 minutes.
Not to mention what its doing to health insurance premiums because otherwise healthy "Kyle" wants to lose a couple pounds and his insurance covers the drug.

What dblkluk said. These drugs are meant for obese people not people just looking to drop a few more pounds. They should not be getting prescribed these drugs but we all know how doctors are in bed with pharmaceuticals and get huge kickbacks from it.

I have type 2 diabetes and have been taking the Maunjaro shot for around 9 months. My A1c went from the upper 7's down to 6.1, with the side effect of losing 24 lbs. The cost is completely insane as 4 doses run between $2,000 to 2,500.

These drugs are meant for those with type 2 diabetes, the weight loss is just a side effect. From what my Dr told me for insurance to cover it one has to have an A1C above 7.5 and they will not cover it for weight loss.

I'm on the same drug, I went from 5-6 shots of insulin a day and a A1C of 8.3 to maybe taking 1 shot of insulin a day, my A1C dropped to 6.1 and I lost 60lbs. So, I'm a big fan of this medication.

This new fad will eventually be studied by the government like everything else once someone with some sort of disorder dies, same old story just a different outcome. Its unfortunate because it really affects those who have a real reason to be on it. The reason why the coworker looked terrible is because like traditional exercise and eating healthy where a person loses fat but gain muscle tone, this drug tricks the body into thinking it doesn't need to eat, once science has been able to figure out the active chemistry in the drug they can produce a drug specifically to each individual who is extremely obese, where its a matter of life and death. They just figured out how to take the paranoia out of dextrim which has an active ingredient of pure speed, does the same thing tricking the body into thinking it doesn't need to eat. Many Americans are all about instant self gratification regardless if it will take years off your life.

Like you and obi diabetes is hereditary and is worse when someone who is overweight, im all for those who genuinely needs this to live a better life. There are other solutions out there that will help you regulate your diabetes like epidermal injection pumps what made you go this route?

A. you can get some type of drug that is similiar to ozempic from amazon---- it has the same shit in it and you will drop weight at a fraction of the cost. all you need to do is do some online answer bs to get it. I dont use it but i know ones that do.
B. Now all of sudden lunker is interested in this --- he thinks somebody is getting by easy ----- Lets be certain no matter if you do ozempic or any other drug that helps lower blood sugar ---- they all suck --its not fun and easy like you state Lunk so get off your high horse. I did my weight loss the old fashion way -- but my performance of my job went way down because of it -- i excercised to much and just stopped eating --- i felt like shit, crabby etc --- and as soon as i gain one pound the blood sugar shoots back up. I didnt know the type 1 could do ozempic --- if so more power to them. I wish i would of had the same diet as my parents add in the smoking to while your at it as they ate meat and potatoes and no issues and lived a long life same with the GPs

I take Ozempic for type II. I think I'm on year two of it now and with watching my diet and staying active I'm down 72 lbs. Pretty wacky the initial 2 months as I think I lost 24 lbs. Now I have more energy, feel lots better, down from a 42 to a 32 in jean size and my A1C is pre-diabetic with no other medication. I've lessened my heart attack risk, stroke, and a lot of the diabetic issues that come from a high A1C. People take it for different reasons and I'm OK if they choose to do so. It's a choice thing. Also very likely to delay my need to go on insulin and do the pump route like my dad.

People can say I took the easy way. I tried the medication, diet, exercise route and found that to be much less effective and crashed down twice because of low blood sugar. Never had an issue with Ozempic other than figuring out how my eating habits the day after the shot needs to be monitored.

I just went by what my Dr. recommended, I would like to say I did some research into it and thought it through, but I didn't.

As someone who struggles with hormonal imbalances and a healthy diet/exercise does not touch the extra poundage I carry around, I get why someone *would* use it. My last doctor suggested another version of it to help lower my BP, and of course insurance does not cover the costs. It was like $1500 a month. I was like bitch, I don't have that kind of money lol I'll just stay chubby and live healthy. I'd love to drop like 40 pounds but at the same time, sometimes it is just NOT doable through normal means of healthy living. I've tried it all, some healthy some not. If your body is not cooperating, it just won't work. Body shaming people for their life choices does nothing. It does not effect anyone but them.
