Goes to show that there's a balance for everything. These lakes overpopulated with muskies obviously don't promote growth. Fish were croaking of old age and not even reaching 40 inches. </p><p></p><p>With C&R being basically the norm for muskies these days (and mandatory in MN unless you catch one over 54 inches, the perfect pickling size I might add) I can see where stocking would need to stop or greatly slow after a time, otherwise you're doing more harm than good. Maybe not so much in giant natural lakes like Leech, but definitely in smaller lakes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
