We are going to be stripping our cedar deck boards and spindles off our deck in Mid-September and wondering if anyone would want it. Figured i would post here and FB first before placing on BisMan. It is for giveaway but must take it all. Use it, refurbish it, or burn in your bonfire pit.
Let me know. You must load it and haul it too. Bismarck, ND
We are going with TREX decking and aluminum railings.

Patio wood is probably easier to give away than morning wood. And your's being cedar, a guy could cedar plank a mushky. All jokes aside, how much are talking here, ballpark?

No 2x's. Decking and spindles. Suppose to be all cedar.

Will be available approximately mid-September.

You are going to have a fist fight in your driveway. Sweeten the deal by asking how much beer is it worth.

Had one guy inquire about it as he heard from a buddy that we were going to be taking it off. He asked if he had to take it off. Told him no my son will be taking it off. Then asked if we could load it on a trailer and haul it to his place and stack it where he wanted it. Said no we won't load it and don't have a trailer to put it on. I asked him if he wanted us to then build his deck for him too.
Man, some peoples kids!!!

Like selling a used car, they want new tires, oil change and full tank of gas, and 1000 less than what you want.

Sounds good. I will try to give you a couple weeks notice before we take the deck off to get a trailer or whatever lined up.
If things change please let me know.
Thank you kindly!

Haha, I sold a La-Z-Boy recliner at a garage sale once. I must mention, I hate garage sales. Hate having them, hate going to them. Just can't stand them.

Anyhow, this lady said she'd take it. Wanted to give me less (I think I wanted $5, and she offered $3). I said I'd take $5.

Then she started to give me her address.

I told her to "take a walk".
