No British lines point. That’s like completely against everything they would breed.

Or is that a training thing and not a breeding thing. I’ve had 2 British labs. Was hoping to find a pointing one. Don’t want a 100lb lab.

If it was British it was purely training . American dogs are generally smaller and higher drive than the British dogs .

I would like to see a pedigree the British guys take there dogs pretty serious I would guess there’s American dogs in there.

I’ve had labs from here before. Super smart, great demeanor, and very clean health lines. They are shorter. Nice in most cover but wore out faster than taller labs in cattails and heavy grass. Also being shorter made it tougher for them if you hunt snows or canadas.

They are smart and learn really fast.

That makes sense,Kurt. They didn’t look like my British labs which are pure. Not sure what to do, Im not waterfowl hunting anymore and all pheasants. Like the calmness of the British labs but would like a pointer.

I reached out to my past breeder KT British Labs but have not heard back if he’s still in the game.

Kim is still doing it ran tests with him this summer

If I was just doing upland I would seriously consider a wirehair, draht or pudel pointer . With leaning twords the pudel pointer because they have such high breed standards but I know a girl in Bismark who has some killer witehairs I would own in a second
