I wonder if apps like onX will be good enough for this or will there be constant fights about if the person is actually crossing at the corner. A lot of public land i've been around in wyoming and montana has the property corner pins in place but not all of it.

I can't jump a fence on a straightaway. Jumping at a corner would pert near guarantee torn pants at the crotch and a face full of dirt. Who the hell would want to jump a fence at the corner anyway? Stupid.

If the corner is not clearly demarcated it would be difficult for the landowner to cry foul. At best GPS will get you within 10 feet (would not be able to accurately demarcate private/public boundaries.
A hunter would be able to illustrate to law enforcement/courts that they made a "good faith effort" at avoiding trespass. Just my two cents.

Only applies to the checkerboard states in that court circuit for now. I don’t recall the list, other than MT isn’t included. Or ND lol.

Ruling is not needed here - In North Dakota, section line easements are recognized as public roads open for public travel, typically extending 33 feet on each side of the section line.

There is no landlocked gov’t land in ND that isn’t accessible by section line? I’d figure there has to be some in the west somewhere? Regardless, my comment was in jest.
