Teslas ain’t even close to being fully autonomous. Yes they are head and shoulders ahead of the rest but are nowhere near being fully autonomous and probably never will be. If any normal person would say half the crazy crap Elon says they would be labeled a lunatic but for some reason when he says it it’s a sure thing. Idk. I’ve watched many interviews with the guy and can’t believe some of the crap I hear. Robots ain’t taking over the planet

I hope you are right. With AI and quantum computing, I could see the world being wildly different in another generation or two. Even unfathomable.

The Chinese robot looks awfully AI generated to me.

I dont think hes advocating for evacuating the earth. Primarily he wants people on mars as a backup in case something catastrophic would happen to the earth. Right now we have all of our eggs in one basket, so to speak. A bad asteroid collision could set us back to the stone age... maybe

He didnt say it would be able to do what you are claiming... He said it might EVENTUALLY be able to do some significant things, but no one expected that to be easy to accomplish.
