Looking for camera and data plan advice from you that have already shopped. It's low traffic area so wouldn't be many pictures but I need to be able to randomly see the camera view on both computer and phone.

I tried to get estimate from Verizon for plans and they needed zip code and a bunch of jazz. What would you estimate to run it ? I see solar trail cameras are pretty reasonable .

Id like to get a remote camera also for my land. Theres a hill I could put it on that gives a view of my full 40 acres, but I want a camera that will use cell service, run off solar, has the ability to pan left and right and also zoom, preferably at least 4x optical. Any suggestions?

I use SpyPoint cameras. Have built-in solar charging system. Have never changed batteries in 3+ years of high seasonal use. The plan I have is 250 pics / month for $5. The app allows me to turn the cellular option off / on and I can cancel the cellular option at any time via the app. Only downside is that alerts on app are sometimes delayed by 10 - 45 minutes (sync time) so would not work well for security applications.
