Reward for missing racoon - Fort Ramsom/Page area

A couple is offering a monetary reward to help find their missing pet raccoon.
The raccoon's name is Ricki. Ricki is 5 months old and has been raised as a household pet.
Ricki was last seen on September 2nd. According to his owners he went missing between Fort Ransom and Page.
Ricki was wearing a blue harness when he went missing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the couple you can reach them at 406-468-9242 or 406-899-5137.

Yes u can have a raccoon as a pet as long is the racoon is licensed and vaccination is up to date.

Auto repairman back home had pet raccoons. Had them trained to put out his cigarette as soon as it hit the floor. Funny to watch, but oh, I think they were in trouble all the time in his shop.

Pretty sure it's not legal to keep a raccoon. The state board of animal health could issue a permit for it but they won't for raccoons or skunks. In all honesty I'd remove this. If game and fish sees it the raccoon will probably be taken even if found.

I call bs as long as the raccoon has it shots up to date and licensed as a pet neutered . Also if the pet has been purchased by a dealer There is nothing game and fish can do.

I was just passing the story along to people who I know have a better chance than most of seeing the critter - dead or alive.
