I can see positives with stocking this fish in Sak from my armchair:
1. We're not going to have all this water forever. They would provide a back up to the smelt.
2. We have ample predators which feed shallow.
3. They would be the first "invasive" in place to feed on undesirable communist invasives.
4. Huge bullheads if they made it out of the Missouri system.
Negatives:
1. They are Lycan ugly.
2. Within the lower food chain they are "top dog" which may eventually be detrimental to a smelt comeback. This could necessitate stocking of alternate open water forage.
3. Huge bullheads if they made it out of the Missouri system.
4. Politics both up and down stream.
