Why the 2 models? The standard or 22/45. What other than the angle of the pistol grip is the difference?

Yeah, it's mostly the grip, with the 22/45 made to mimic the 1911. I shoot a 22/45 Lite, and I really like it.

I have a mark 3 and a mark 4 (22/45). The new design for disassemble/reassemble on the mark 4 is fantastic! The mark 3 and older are a MF'er to put back together.

Yup agree. I am planning on a Mark IV however my Mark III is customized with an after market trigger and custom grips. Leaning to the Mark IV not the 22/45 version.

Plus when I got my Mark III Gordy installed a trigger/accurizing kit from Volquartsen. I highly recommend that.

I would say both however I really like the balance and the ease of aiming.

Both--IMHO. The heavy bbl naturally wants to point down and resisting this adds to steady aim.

Another thing I love about the Mark 4 is the markings are classy instead of "ZOMBIE KILLA" bullshit.

I traded off the bull barrel for the light mark IV. I hated giving up the nice gold trigger, but the custom 2lb makes up for the bull barrel.
