McKenzie bay area yesterday right off of Tunnel point the water temp was a solid 63*, never made it out to the main water, as I didn't need to go that way to find fish, but I am sure its a 10* difference

Was at Audoban Sunday morning. Fished fro 7:30 to noonish. 4 keeprs and threw back lots of small ones. Then fished by Garrison in the afternoon. Was a dead sea, but found lots and lots of smelt.

May have seen you out there H82...we put in at 3 Mile just after 7am...off the water about 12:30. We caught 7 or 8 walleye and 2 smallies. All fish caught on spinners with either a leech or crawler. Water temps were right around 68...so I think we are officially at spinner time...at least in Audubon anyway. When we first got on the water threw jigs and plastics for 2 hours...not much action. I tried pulling/pitching cranks...buddy switched to the spinners. I had 1 hit on the cranks then switched to spinners myself. Think I'm gonna hit Douglas Bay Friday morning...but sorta thinking the bite...at least right now...may be better late afternoon into the evening?

We were probably real close. We also put in at 3 mile just after 7am. All our fish came on slow death. I am surprised how slow the east end of Sak has been for us. Normally in June I can find some active fish and get enough for a 1 -2 person limit. Have caught 2 walleye in 3 trips. Been absolutely dead for us from Douglas to Ft. Stevenson. Guess this just proves what I have always thought, I'm not that good at fishing. Might hit up Indian Hills this weekend depending on weather.

Ya...has been kinda slow so far this year. Think the wife and I are gonna run down to Douglas Bay early Friday morning, but I still kinda think the evening bite is a little more consistent right now. Will let you know how we do...
