I overheard our grandkids talking about their favorite sports teams and I'd never heard of Savana Bananas so I had to google them, they take the boredom out of baseball.
It would probably be more fun to watch them play the RedHawks. Who do you think would win ? I have no clue.Teams from their league will be coming to Fargo at the end of June and we were lucky enough to get tickets(it is a lottery system). I am more of a baseball "purist" but my kids loves them. Anything to get him interested in my favorite sport I am all for!
You aren't wrong on either count. If you go to a Bananas game expecting baseball - well, there are balls and bats. If you go to laugh, be engaged/entertained, and see some cool tricks, then it's worthwhile! Baseball and Banana Ball are similar, yet completely different. That isn't baseball, and baseball isn't boring.
Yep. The Globetrotters were the game of basketball, plus entertainment. Way more true to the game. The Bananas are not baseball. Watched maybe five minutes of a game and it made my head hurt and my gaydar go off. Bunch of goofy fruitcakes that aren't good enough to make a baseball team or Disney musical cast and not big enough for the WWF, so they decided to combine them. I'd rather sit at Newman Outdoor Field or Target Field and explain to my grandkids why the outfielder hit the cutoff man or the batter bunted. Well, except for it might give them the curse of being a Twins fan...I can relate to kids really loving it , I thought the Harlem Globetrotters were the best ever when I was a kid.
I like baseball but fired up for the Pens return to the NHL playoffs. Probably the most exciting pro sports postseason. They wrecked the nba, I’d rather watch paint dryPlay off hockey and basketball starts today. I will wait till end of October to maybe watch baseball. It’s about as entertaining as soccer or golf.
The soccer I can agree with. Golf to many, watching is boring. If you play the game it is much more appreciative of the talent these people have. Being able to hit a 2" golf ball say 180yds with a stick and stick it within 5-10' of the pin is pretty amazing.Play off hockey and basketball starts today. You poor bugger, I hear theres no cure.Hi. I’m a Twins fan. Got the illness in 1987 and 1991 cemented it.
