Thanks for for the feedback everyone. I will spray down my gear and see if that helps to start with to help save me some money since this stuff is pretty new. I didn't think it would leak this early and thought I could at least get a good year out of it before having to treat it. Oh well, I could have started to melt, so it could have been worse I guess.

I bought a set of motorcycle rain gear a few years ago on closeout. I think the brand is AGV. Works great on the cycle and even better in the boat. It keeps me dry and breaths.
