Message: <blockquote data-quote="Putz ND" data-source="post: 154024" data-attributes="member: 1031"><p>I can attest to upright, level floatation in a Ranger 620 FS, and I was extremely thankful for two bilge pumps!!  We had a wave roll in the side, over the gunnel while traveling about 5-7mph in last year's Casino tournament on Devils Lake.  We didn't spear it, just unlucky timing and had it break right over us.  COMPLETELY filled the boat, I had to grab Plano trays to keep them from floating away and set them on the dash - it was the only thing out of the water.  Those two bilge pumps kicked in, and nearly an hour later, we were able to get back on plane.  We were both wishing there was 3 or 4 of them in there.  The boat never lost power, and the expense of sealed/water proof wiring was worth every penny.  Crazy day.</p></blockquote><p></p>
