The Grand Jury returned three counts of Reckless Manslaughter (Class F Felony) for the deaths of three occupants of the Holcombe vessel.
- Count 1: Recklessly causing the death of Joey M. Broom
- Count 2: Recklessly causing the death of John K. Clark.
- Count 3: Recklessly causing the death of Jeffrey C. Little
Davis also faces two counts of Assault in the First Degree (Class F Felony) for recklessly engaging in conduct that manifested extreme indifference to the value of human life and caused serious physical injury to others.
- Count 4: Causing serious physical injury to Luke H. Morgan
- Count 5: Causing serious physical injury to Gary W. Holcombe
Additionally, the indictment includes three misdemeanor/other counts.
- Count 6: Reckless Operation of Vehicle/Vessel
- Count 7: Failure to Follow Boating Rules of the Road, specifically failing to maintain a proper lookout
- Count 8: Boating Without Boater Safety Certification
Bail for Davis was fixed at $115,000.00. The indictment was presented by District Attorney R. Champ Crocker of the Thirty-Second Judicial Circuit.
