Never had actual Ostrich but my moms friend runs a Emu farm in AZ. The meat is more steak than chicken but wonderful!!! The eggs are a little over rated, but one egg feading the whole family is kind of neat. Supposedly there is wonderful health benefits to their meat/ oil.

Watched another vid where the flavor was described as reminiscent of duck with the texture of beef. Richard Petty did Emu Oil adds last year. He was a successful stock car driver.
