A guy could look at it that way. But most the deer in that neck of the woods would fall under the same guise then.

Why did you say that?

Insecure of your own hunting ability?

Well maybe because it said, and I quote “my dream was to raise and shoot a 200 inch deer”

I go " nutso" on gst cuz he's a stalker and a dink.
Higgins doesn't " raise" deer as in a fence. He makes his property as deer friendly as possible same as lots of people that own land and love doing it

uh yeah, that must be it - lol

the headlines made is sound like “OMG, what are the chances? Super hunter”

my thought - “chances are not too bad if you make your living selling products designed to raise big deer and are raising big deer as a profession”

the guy practically scratches them behind the ears for 5-6 years - then whacks em - I’m not sure if I could even do that

It reads like the article was posted in one of his catalogs with so many product references...lol. Good for him though, I’d love to shoot one like that some day.

The story as published in Field & Stream even has imbedded hot links to his website/products. This “news article” is a paid advert for his products essentially. The older I get the more saddened I get about how we’ve productized wild animals. Kinda grotesque.
