Bismarck mother pleads guilty after altercation with Mandan bus driver

MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) The Bismarck woman accused of not stopping the assault of a Mandan bus driver in December pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment.

Thirty-six-year-old Megan Rosario Hernandez is accused of pushing and yelling at a 73-year-old Mandan bus driver after her son assaulted him.

She is charged with harassment and disorderly conduct. A criminal trespass charged was dismissed.

The 12-year-old was cited with simple assault, disorderly conduct, trespassing and tampering or damaging a public service.

Police say the bus driver had a cut to his chin and blood on his lip and tongue.

A judge ordered a year of deferred imposition sentence for Rosario Hernandez and a year of unsupervised probation.

Rosario Hernandez was also ordered to have no contact with the victim and to provide the Morton County States Attorney’s office with a letter of apology for him.

Boy those sentences are really harsh! What the heck deferred and probation and a letter of apology. That should really show them.
She should have her ass in jail for a year and the kid sent somewhere where he learns a lesson too. That is after they both get their asses whooped.

Couldn't agree more. It worked for years that way, then after that,there was some sort of job around the farm (for rural) or the house, garage, or yard to do in town. Things have went downhill for quite some time, and it is going to get worse without a doubt.

There was audio of this altercation, and I can guarantee this won't be the last time this kid is in trouble.

Unsupervised probation at that so all things being equal she was literally sentence to nothing at all! So how can you expect the kids to turn out right when they see their parents getting away with everything.
