And my long time friend and dedicated angler Trevor Johnson caught it, well deserved! He tried releasing her but she kept coming back up. Tells you what kind of sportsman he is. His dad netted her for him as well, pretty darn cool.
18 lbs and only 32.25 inches!

Ha ha what's crazy is I could count the number of friends I have in Montana on pretty much one hand. And then two of them go and catch state records there in 2021, what are the odds.
I've known Trevor since he was a kid, he and his dad fished the Columbia every year as well, at the same time. Staying in a wall tent right down on the river, pretty hard-core. He and his dad went on to form a successful tackle company "kits tackle" they also started guiding recently. Good people.
