Severe winds in Coleharbor caused water to go over the highway this evening. Winds in the area have been reported at 60+ mph.

Seen a lot of destruction on my way home tonight. Anyone having issues? Seen issues?

Drove by sweetbriar tonight and it had some pretty decent rollers pounding the eastern shore. . . . made me wonder what this wind was doing to Sak today. Wish I could have seen that.

Wow that takes some serious waves to crash over the embankment like that! I am not sure if driving through that would be fun or absolutely terrifying....maybe both?

no issues in Mandan so far at home. Other than the wind neatly lining up the deck chairs and grill on one side of the deck.

Watched the wind slide a chair out 10' and then push right back to the same spot several times.

the news said a tree fell on a power line in Bismarck.

Someone i know in NE bismarck lost 3 trees.

Not of the embankment unfortunately. Fast forward to about 1:22. Sounds like no one got hurt. Amazing what 60+ mph winds can do. Would also love to see some footage of the waves on sak if anyone comes across any!

Had to take a screenshot of how far the firefighters were leaning as they stood talking to each other! Lol there are branches big and small down everywhere like we had a big thunderstorm!

10% of my corn is broke over. My neighbors have a section of barley that was ripe enough. The wind whipsawed all the beards off and about 40% of the kernals are on the ground.

It seems sunflowers are tougher. Very little damage.

Devils lake had 6' waves with some reaching 8' but with most at 4. Some trees down but mostly branches.

I have lost no fewer than 20 trunks that are greater than 12 inches in diameter. And holy crap for damage to the Russian olive tree rows!

Sawyer,
Maples are so wimpy. I planted one this spring and I can see already it's gonna
struggle. Will likely be the last I plant.
