Was driving along a meadow this foggy morning and seen 100's of these webs with dew on them.

Yellow orb spider I believe?

Whoa! I saw this yesterday going to Indian Hills, there were several miles of this on 1804 coming from the west/north.

Thats cool did u catch the spider that wound the web. I've seen nasty looking spiders on cattle trails in mid April that if u walked into I'm not sure u need hair or fur to get bitten. But prolly an orb weaver like 2 inch legs good sized body nasty looking.

So the moisture on the web accents what it is but but more than likely harmless. If bitten by said spider itchy or like a hornet sting worst case imo. Have known a guy that was bitten by a wolf spider in the rocks out in sak believing it. He had a reaction and his arm swelled up like a crevice. The person sprayed it out with a garden hose and was OK. It was all gangrene an stuff white green puss. He lived

Spiders are pretty good designers. Webs noticeable all over this time of year with the dew. Just swept the house down yesterday to get all the webs off and sprayed with Tempo. Shop and shed gonna get it today.
Nice pics. . .

They look cool but I hate it when I’m bird hunting and work my way into brush being surrounded by them

Agreed. Meadow engineers make some really cool designs.

I didn't stop to check out which spider was doing most of the webs, it was just really cool to see the web density of about a foot or two between the webs for about 2-3 miles. It would have been a living hell for people who hate spiders.
