You're like Bobby Boucher's mama and the Devil. It's retail therapy. It's upset people who are freaking out because they can't control this. So, they take back control by panic buying supplies. A person is smart. People are dumb. Mob mentality is to blame. The media is just reporting the news. In fact, several news broadcasts I've watched have said in plain English, "TP is made in America. There is not a shortage. Stop panic buying." But the mob is deaf.

But everything being the media's fault is also a good and not at all cop out response. I spilled coffee on my pants on the way to work this morning. Goddamn media not fixing the bumps on the interstate.

I haven't read all the posts but skimmed over and haven't noticed any conspiracy theories. Some rambling thoughts just for fun.... I don't trust big pharma, big government or terrorists. All of them have the capabilities and motives to invent this flu . We manufacture influenzas all the time in research to develop the vaccines. We might be shocked to realize some day that quite a few of the past ones were man made and what the motives were.


On a side note, I'm not anti trump but I didn't vote for him either so I am void of any emotions tied to the guy but he is acting like a dumb ass by saying he isn't worried that he has been in contact with several confirmed carriers . I get that he is trying to act brave and bulletproof but where's the common sense ? He looked tired the last couple of interviews , Rightfully so , The stress must be off the charts with an event like this going on. Just wish he would handle things better because from what I can see he is the best person for the job in the upcoming election. He is pissing off a lot of republicans at this point.

My wife ordered some online, and our grocery store got some in today so she picked up 2 6 roll packs. We weren't out but she thought she better buy some because when we do run out, who knows if there'll be any in stock. A lot of Gommer Piles out there with nothing better to do than hoard TP.

Here is what is going on with the toilet paper hoarding.
The Corona Virus does not cause the "squirts" so no hoarding because of that.
The hoarding is going on down here because people are thinking we are going to be forced to stay home for 15-30 days sometime in the near future. So they don't want to be without toilet paper, coffee, and disinfecting wipes .
Just my 2 cents.
