i had an old alumacraft me and the family went to camp of the cross ramp my daughter wanted to sit in the boat as i backed it down when it was in the water and i hit the brakes the rotten hook strap broke and the boat proceeded to float out to the middle of the bay much to my daughters dismay (4 yr old) luckily the church had all their kayaks laying on the bank so i didn't have to swim that far. note to self small kids kayaks are not that much fun for a 200+ pound fella.
