Message: <blockquote data-quote="Ponyroper" data-source="post: 106820" data-attributes="member: 423"><p>Retired two years ago but have two part time jobs just to make a little money for new toys.  One job is full time running from about the end of April to the middle of June.  The other is ad lib from the beginning of June to the end of October.  Second job is when I feel like working and gives me a lot of flexibility to fish or prairie dog hunt whenever I want.  In between I make hay for my horses and do yard work around home.  My advice is don't work a day longer than you absolutely have to unless your job is more fun than your hobbies.  Life is too short to die at your desk/tractor/wheel and you can't take your left over money with you.  Your family won't love you any less if you die poor as long as you spend time with them while you're here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
