Latest update from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Mountain-Prairie Region U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Extends Public Comment Period on Proposed Use of Vaccine to Protect Prairie Dogs, Endangered Black-footed Ferrets LEWISTOWN, MT – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announced today a 30-day extension on the public comment period for two Environmental Assessments (EA). These EAs propose the use of a vaccine to protect prairie dogs and endangered black-footed ferrets on Charles M. Russell and UL Bend National Wildlife Refuges in northeastern Montana. With today’s announcement of the comment period extension, the new deadline for public input is June 13, 2016. I have a lot of vaccine on hand. It is labeled 223 40gr HP. :;:stirthepot

I don't know if they consider it a "vaccination" or not but prairie dogs regularly get treated for plague in SD on National Parks. They spray something in the holes.

You guys don't even know half the stupid shit FWP's does. One year they lost a 4-wheeler (due to large amount of peace corps type kids who work there every summer) when the local rancher found it fixing fence they claimed they didn't lose it but a few months later they called him back up and claimed it. They lost the new four wheeler by hiring kids to dust every prairie dog hole because they were going to kill the fleas that carry bubonic plague. Once they killed the fleas they put Electric fence around massive towns but didn't kill they coyotes trapped inside who then feasted on the ferrets. But don't worry the Hillary and Bernie camp supporters called the American Praire Foundation will save south Phillips county by buying locals out which I don't blame them for selling. I could go on and on but they both love the land to death which kinda makes the tree row threads laughable.
