Valley City Area Ice

Anyone been out on Ashtabula or any of the small slough lakes around Valley City (Fox, Eckelson, Moon, etc.)? Hoping to take the kids out this weekend and looking for some info on ice conditions.

same here got family in town looking to get out...I saw a couple houses last Saturday on the south side of I-94...could not see any on the north side on any of the usual spots..

The ice varies lake to lake. Most of them, in most areas are 5-7 inches.

It all depends on if there was geese on the lakes. Most areas are good but spots of only 2 inches are around this was as of Friday so the thin spots should be better by now.

Was out on a couple this past Saturday and they were 4" on one and 6-8" on another. Neither had birds on them to my knowledge.
