they said it was just guns they had to long and were getting rid of inventory for new things...corporate deal i suppose. unlike scheels they mark them down and get rid of them. i ran into this in 2001 i picked up 2 weathery vanguards for 200 bucks. They every once in a while just close them out the guy said. I picked up 5 guns most of them AR type guns got an olympic arms .223 for 300, windam .223 for 350, sig522 for $250,dpms 308 for 600, and a mossberg .22 751 for 100. about 3k of guns for 1700 bucks. when the stocks dip i buy guns and booze now if i could get a clearance deal on beer whiskey or rum.
I was going to go last night but instead waited til lunch break, i'm guessing a lot of the other guns were gone. When i left they had a sig sg3000 in 308 for 700 and a couple tactical shotguns for around 250. I figured 5 was enough for today, but in all reality i should have bought everything they had, everything was about 50% of msrp. my problem is i have an bunch of guns i don't shoot enough already and a handful that i do shoot, The kids will make a killing in the auction when i die. Or if i ever move back to the country i will have a few more plinkers. called n store and mandan they didn't really have anything a mossberg 22 and an 870 but only about 50-100 bucks off.
