I've been wanting to do it myself. It would be great for washing down the spilled crawler box, cooling off the dogs, etc. etc.

I use mine a lot, If I make a mess I hose it down. It keeps flies from hanging around the boat.

I have too many boats , One boat has a holding tank and an automatic supply pump like a camper and I teed off and ran a short garden hose with a spray nozzle, That pump has a lot of pressure and volume and can blast away just like a regular garden hose. The other one is in smaller boat and had a good sized bilge pump with a hose attached and have to flip the switch to turn it on. Bilge pump doesn't have much pressure to blast away but it waters it down anyway.

Biggest headache is the hose that gets in the way , I tried a curly hose and that was a tangled up mess.

Holding tank OK. But imo one that pumps lake water in no thanks. Flies love stinky green lake water. I hàve never understood the whole in boat washdown. If I need it right away I use the spray nozzle at the cleaning station.

On my smaller boat unless it's something worth washing off I usually vacuum and spray it with bronco , ( fly spray for horse barns.) I can put up with just about anything in my boat but I can't stand lingering flies.

Its to keep Northern Pike scud based shit/puke from turning into involuntary and unwanted stucco finish on your boat.

[h=1]rule STC Tournament Series Aerator Pump Thru-Hull Application / Straight 4 3/4 inch Pickup Tube[/h]pulled out my existing live well pump and put this one in with the secondary port that way you don't have to add another thru hull

[h=1]Johnson Pumps 10-24728-03 Aqua Jet 2.9 Wash Down Pump, 12V[/h]then plumed in this pump

wouldn't be without it. clean all my fish right in the boat don't even have to stop at cleaning station.

Would post links for you put dont have enough posts. just highlight them and copy to amazon search

Car wash in town gets all the crap off, then park on hill by house and let drain and dry off before putting tarp back on.

Competition ski boats, for years, have had hot-water sprayers on the back deck, for warming up the wetsuit. Pretty slick. Takes hot water off the 351 Indmar, and runs it through a sprayer just like the one on your kitchen sink. Feels great on cold feet.

My ProV has one, I use it on pretty much every outing. I rinse off the spills, the fish slime, the dirty crawler mess, etc.

I love it. Of course I fish Sakakawea mainly, and the water rarely is funky.
