Website design help

I am currently trying to build a website for Warriors on the Water ND but web design is way over my head.
Is there anyone in the Minot area that would be willing to help create a webpage for the Warriors event. as of right now we operate off a facebook page but there is a lot of people without facebook and we have grown to a point where our own website would help us.

I use vistaprint to build my website and its pretty simple, the basic websites start at $19.99/mo. I believe Wix is another one used alot and is a little bit cheaper, but i am unable to easily transfer over, so i haven't really compared to see if the features are the same.


For me I often wonder if a website is worth my time and money, its so much easier and faster to post to facebook. There are a couple reasons I keep mine, One is for easier access to things(ie photo pages, rather than scrolling through 100 facebook posts to find what you want). The biggest reason I keep it is search engines, if I search Lake Sakakawea Fishing Guides on google, there is nothing linked to anything facebook(Mine or anybodys) on the first 5 pages, but my website is on there a couple times on the first page, not first but I'm working on that!

I'd give wordpress a try. It is extremely easy to use.
