Well, back to winter

Single digits, a couple inches of hard crusty snow, and 20 mph winds. So overcome with joy I don't know what to do with myself. It's such a relief to finally be done with those pesky 40 and 50 degree days with bright sun and gentle breezes. NOT!! Old man winter is such a (insert appropriate designation). This sucks. That is all!!

We were lucky we didn't get any rain or wind with the storm, just 10 - 12'' of fluffy snow.

My wife and I are somehow the opposite in the older we get the more we enjoy a good winter. Aside from that, I like doing hard shit. Builds character, keeps us mentally strong, unlike those wussies down south

If you would happen to own a lake/ocean side home down south, snake and alligator free of course, I would gladly trade you a nice north dakota winter home. We could trade back in the spring.

uughh I know. Last day it was like 45, I sat out on my back porch soaking up the sun. It was glorious.

A place down south with tech ponds for training i would do that in the winter

I for one would like to see a little more snow out west. The winter snowpack started out about normal, but since late December and early January it has failed to keep pace with the historical normals. We are now falling way behind where we should be for water equivalents.

Agreed,this morning here in central mn walking my pup after yesterday 's dump good numbers of darks and swans booking south steady streams. Still mid winter so expected. Thankgoodness the big event was north from Duluth to Canadian border report said 34"'s heavy wet with 60mph sustained winds 5,6,7' drifts,roads still closed. F'n A!.

Was in Arizona for 15 days (1/31-2/14) in the Apache Junction/Phoenix area. Temps reached 84* 1 day!
Was too warm...good to get back to 4 seasons ND!
