Western ND still got good ice ?

Looking to get out one more time... How's the ice conditions in the western side (McKenzie/Williams) after this warm spell...It will be just me and I'll be walking with a sled and popup .... But I'm always way over cautious when it comes to ice fishing.... I have a wife and a 11 month old son I would love to come back to

Sather Dam was a no go last saturday, lots of water around the edge. No problem getting on Arnegard dam saturday. Sunday we went to the big lake around new town and access was fine, some sloppy areas but with the rain this week it can change quickly. Get an auto-inflate life jacket and a set of ice picks.

I drove my sled across from tobacco to lunds and back last night no prob the shore lines are getting scetchy no more trucks out there but a few big rangers and one pulling a castle out in the bay

I might just say screw it for the year... I drive by sather dam every day and it looks sooooo soft..... Tobacco sounds fun haven't been there yet though ...Desisions Desisions ...
