If anyone cares to hear what scriptures has to say about electing kings to rule over you instead of having Heavenly Father rule over you, just read I Samuel chapter 8. Then compare the description of what would happen to what we have now. Think taxes, the draft, and whom you will labor for. It's quite remarkable.
