I think Nodakguy started the thread and I don't think there was anything embarrassing for him (other than his inability to spell "that"). I was waiting to see db's response to the allegations and pictures and still think he owes it to the group after everything he has posted. The pictures are still available under Nodakguy's member profile.

It wasn't hard to pinpoint the exact piece of property since it bordered Canada. If you have the Onix app, you can look up who owns what, with addresses.

I was gone and when i went on this site and seen what had been said about me i was sick to my stomach. For me there was not a happy ending and for what was said about me.

But just to say:
i bought the land in 98. At that time i did talk to the neighbor and told him i plan to make that 1.8 acres into a hunting spot. As no one in his family did hunt he was okay with that. He has brush and wet land that surrounds by acreage. Ask if i could go into an opening of his land less than 1 acres and plant food plots which was fine. And that is the way it has been since, and he does farm right next to me. And over time i did visit with him about it a time of two. I have had 2 stands that did rot out, and the last stand is now on his land about 50- 60 yards from my land over the food plot. I have had other young kids, non-family over the years come up there to harvest there first deer. Found a lot of enjoyment in that.

About one month ago i notice as pile of grain and a camera in the middle of that food plot. Met with the guy who put it there and i ask him to remove which he said he would. That did not happen, so words were said. And i was upset and did not handle it well.

About 2-3 weeks ago i notice one of his grandkids was up there. He said he and his brother had just become owners of the land. He had a daughter and son interest in hunting, so we discuss this. Ask about were the best place to put a stand up and with 25 some years of hunting there i told him my thoughts.

I then discuss my presents there, the food plot which is part of his land and my hunting there. He was ok with that. Said son and daughter would like to harvest a deer. Told him if his daughter sat in my stand, she would have a doe that night and son depending on the size of his first buck he would have one within a week. About 120 to 130.

And now this. There are always two sides to the story and with the one side people on here are ready to hang me. The last deer i shot there was in 2005. It was a great spot until the elk came about 7-9 years ago. Whitetail are gone for the most part. But i still enjoy the picture taking and feeding the wildlife and maybe just maybe that one 170 class whitetail will show up again. The current stand has been sat in once over the 15 years it has been there.

For me it is a terrible way to leave this site. Everyone needs to believe what they believe.
Anyone can slant the story in their favorite. I have visited with some other neighbors and i am comfortable with my relationship with them on what happen as they are with me.

I feel this would be best not to post but before i leave at least my side for those to believe or not (savage). Thank you for the many years that i have been on here since 2016. I notice he just got on.

I'd have just removed the pics and left the thread. Good lesson for everyone not to post BS or you could get called out for it. Hopefully DB has learned a valuable lesson.....

Hate to lose DB. Not sure what happened here but always enjoyed his story telling and old milwaukee light stories.
