Try new lures?

Try new electronics?

Try now gear?

Try new waters?

Last year I dedicated myself to getting better with crankbaits. This year I will expand on that. I have also, finally, gotten a spot to plop my camper on Devils lake, so i will spend plenty of time mapping out areas, and learning that system.

Try to spend more time on the water

this...weddings and other stupid stuff got in the way last year. The whole month of june was spent running somewhere every weekend.

1.I'm going to get better at pitching jigs and cranks
2. fish different parts of the water column
3. try some new areas/lakes
4. try to wipe the $hit-eating grin off my face as I cruise around in a new (to me) boat.

SE ND.
Fish more than 1 or 2 times.
Restore old Moline and maintenance on other tractors I have restored.
Try not to work so many hours and get to enjoy time with family.

Thumbs Up roger that, This summer the tractors are going to get neglected and collect dust rather than my boat. They are a fun hobby that get in the way of a fun hobby.

I'm always worried that trying something 'untested' goes against prospering.... so I tend to stick with where I fished last year with the same tactics, hoping to feel good about bringing 2-3 walleye home for the freezer. It's amazing how that unsettling 'getting skunked' will pressure a guy to his history of information.

I know it's wrong.... but it is what it is. :;:lame

I like this answer! I am also going to remind everyone that has glitter and sparkles on their boats how much of a pushy that makes u. And I will attempt to break the ND state record for bluegill.
