Also completely unrelated to fires, but good lord Jamestown and the surrounding areas got fucked by those storms lately. Drove to Fargo and back this weekend and saw so many broken trees and building damage along the way.

I'm looking forward to you making a billion dollars with your anti-lightning invention.

Are you seeking investors?
Naaaa, no inventions needed, just huge tariffs on the Basturds contaminating our country by design.

This is what AI said is the reason Canada doesn't put out wildfires.... They could give a F--- if the CO2 and smoke drift into the U.S.

I have lived in ND for 60+ years and never did we have smoke pollution 4 years in a row. This has to be by design to promote the climate change agenda.

AI Overview

The Impossible Fight to Stop Canada's Wildfires | WIRED

Canada doesn't extinguish all wildfires primarily because many are in remote, inaccessible areas and because some are considered beneficial for forest health. While human safety is always the top priority, certain wildfires are monitored and allowed to burn naturally, especially if they don't threaten communities or critical infrastructure.

Was lighting not starting fires since forever? Why are the fires so bad now vs the last 50 years and beyond.

Do you know what ”inaccessible” means?

doesnt matter camper trump has established that a tarrif is the way to get back at countries who are mean to us so that how our brains work now you do something I dont like u get tarrifd

personally i dont see how putting a financial burden on american citizens is going to make canada put out more fires since they dont have enough firemen equipment or a way to get to some of these fires maybe the tariff will make canada move their fireman manufacturing to the usa and i cant comprehend how a longer dryer fire season in a massive forest is different than it was 60 years ago either way im mad and need some revenge

Please don't refer to glyphosate as a desiccant. It's an herbicide. Desiccants absorb or adsorb moisture to keep something else dry. Herbicides kill plants. Ag interests have been incorrectly using the word for years now, because...well, telling people you're spraying their grains with an herbicide was considered much less customer appreciated.

You can argue the reason why, but it’s pretty clear that for whatever reasons the northern forest regions of Canada are drier and warmer over the last 5 years than in any of our modern recorded history. It’s fact based on the precipitation totals and average temps. This has led to way more fires.

I’m not sure anyone arguing about fire control has been in these forests. They’re basically crawl through, nasty thick in many places. Aircraft and retardant is largely ineffective in this type of fuel. Water scoopers are more effective but it’s still like pissing on a campfire in most cases. Very different fire conditions than what we experience in the majority of the US.

Mother Nature is what controls this. My advice would be to get used to it.
