Got everything to the show grounds and settled in. Should be another good year with some interesting stuff, Home Built Equipment this year. We have already seen some neat stuff pulling in and caught up with some friends.

I told my wife we were going this year but we had a long road trip last weekend and I changed my mind.

There is a variety from steam to fuel tractors, saw mills, blacksmith, old time threshing and plowing demos, tractor pull, horse demos and more that I am missing.

LBrandt same here. Also did a little shocking. Corn shocks were great to hide in and shoot crows.

Dropped off the fish house in the campground this afternoon and will be headed back out tomorrow with my team of horses once the kids are out of school. Great event for the whole family, I’d recommend it for any and every body.

My mother keep a journal of daily happenings during the dirty 30s. Amazing what people did by physical labor back then and it was all family helping family or the next door neighbor and no questions asked.
