My amount of respect for him is large...he could have sold out. He said the songs weren't about him. This is tight.

That was a very well written speech. I'm sure he wrote and meant every word. Will anyone run with it, lots of people in the audience, I'm sure that could help make a difference. But will they, it opened up lots of eye's and hearts.

I did that in my 20s. It’s worse.
I graduated in 1977 and buried five class mates the first two be for we graduated. First one in 6th grade house fire. And 2nd one going into freshman year. thrown off his horse and drown. Third pickup hit a train. Forth hit a grain truck head on. Fifth was a passenger on a motorcycle and hit a car head on. Then four years after graduation we lost another one. He was counting truck loads of coal when his pickup was run over by a big mining truck That alot of kids in a class of 70 students
