Ok stupid question...

Last 2 years I noticed when I was at audobon people would occasionally honk as they drove by.... Any meaning behind this?? Or are people just that friendly while driving by..;:;rofl

Ive given a honk a time or two when crossing the lakes. For me it’s just my way of saying good luck and wish I was out there too! Gonna hit Sak east end this weekend, give me a honk if you’re passing by!!

When I’m fising the rivers near a bridge I get that all the time. I make sure to give everyone a big wave back at least.

I’ve been known to honk especially if I see someone fighting a fish. Just a “way to go” kind of thing.

If people see boats/fisherman close to the highway, they honk, more like just giving you a thumbs up for being on the water\good luck type of thing.

The horn on my pontoon is so pansy I'm embarrassed to use it. I think I can fart and make more noise. Not bragging, just a fact.

It's a good thing you can't hear me every time I drive across, it was worse when I was waiting for my boat. You get the bird and a couple fuckin assholes catching fish while I'm going to or from Bismarck... I mutter for a good 15 min both ways unless I'm on the way home to get the boat then I'm scouting your spot

I occasionally fish along highway 2 east of DL & typically get a few "honkers" every time.
